How a week works
It all happens in the group chat you already have. Nobody needs to download anything.
The Squadcard goat says: Watch a week with me. It takes 20 seconds.
The organiser posts the game in the group chat. Everyone taps in, maybe or out, on any phone.
Squadcard splits whoever's in into two sides with the closest total ratings it can find, a keeper on each side.
At full time the organiser posts the vote link in the chat. Rate each player out of 10 and pick the player of the match.
Once most of the squad has voted, or a day after the game, ratings move and the player of the match gets an in-form card, ready to share in the chat.
Fair by design
Rating your mates only works if nobody can stitch anyone up. So the maths is on your side.

Votes stay secret
Nobody sees how you rated them. Not your mates, not the organiser. Cards only ever show the average.

Extremes dropped
Once six or more people vote, the highest and lowest are thrown out. One mate's 1 can't sink you and one mate's 10 can't carry you.

Wind-ups count less
If someone's scores are always miles from everyone else's, their votes carry less weight over time.

One game, one nudge
A game needs at least four votes to count, and your card is built from all your games, so one bad night only nudges it.

Score three and you get a hat-trick card. Keep a clean sheet, turn up for your fiftieth game, or finish the season top of the ratings, and your card changes to show it.

Is it free?
Joining a squad, voting, your card and stats are always free. Starting a new squad needs Squad Pro (7 days free on the yearly plan), and one Squad Pro covers the whole squad. Squads started before 5 October 2026 stay free.
Do my mates need to download anything?
No. They join from the invite link and do everything in their phone's browser, Android or iPhone. Anyone who'd rather have an app can get the iPhone app from the App Store.
Can anyone see how I rated them?
No one, not even the organiser. Cards only ever show the average, and a rating only counts once enough people have voted.
What if someone gives their mate a 1 to wind them up?
Once six or more people vote, the highest and lowest votes are dropped. And a card is built from many games, so one game only moves it a little.
What kind of games is it for?
Squadcard is an app for football groups that play every week: who's in, fair teams, and ratings from your mates. 5-a-side to 11-a-side, a Sunday kickabout or a regular pickup game: if you play with roughly the same people every week, it works.
Does Squadcard handle the pitch money?
It works out who owes what and keeps track of who's paid. The money itself goes between you as it does now: it never passes through Squadcard.
