How is my rating worked out?
After each game every player rates the others out of 10. Your match rating is the average, with the single highest and lowest vote dropped once six or more people have voted, so one grudge or one best mate can’t swing it. Your card rating follows your recent form, and new players start from the rating they gave themselves until a few games have been played.
Can anyone see how I voted?
No. Not your squad-mates and not the organiser. Only averages are ever shown.
Do my friends need the app?
No. Players join, vote and see their card from a link in the group chat, on any phone. Organisers run the squad from the website or the iPhone app.
Something looks wrong with a match
The organiser can edit the teams and score, or void the match so it doesn’t count towards anyone’s rating.
How do I report a player, photo or squad?
Tap the player, photo or squad and choose Report. Reported photos are hidden while they’re reviewed. You can also leave a squad at any time, and organisers can remove a player.
How do I cancel Squad Pro?
If you subscribed in the app, cancel in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Squadcard. If you bought it on the website, go to Account settings and choose “Manage or cancel it” (the link in your receipt email works too). Your squad keeps all its history; picking teams and new votes pause until someone in the squad puts Squad Pro on it.
What's Player Pro?
An upgrade just for you, in every squad you’re in: your whole history and every season, your record with each teammate, form, images of your year, a standing cut-out on your card, three extra card frames and every country design. It never changes playing or voting. Get it on the website from your account, or in the iPhone app under Account, then Player Pro. Monthly and yearly plans are cancelled like Squad Pro; lifetime is a one-off.
How do card designs work?
Each design is bought once and is yours to keep, on your card in every squad. You see the exact design and its price before buying, and nothing is random. Wear one (or none) in the app, or on the website under Account settings. A special card you earn that week still shows its own look.
Can I stop notifications at night?
Yes. Quiet hours are on by default, 22:00 to 08:00 in your own time: reminders wait until the morning, and anything else arrives silently. Change the hours or switch any kind of notification off in the app under Account, then Notifications.
I bought Pro on the website. Do I pay again in the app?
No. It's on your account, so it works in the iPhone app too. Sign in to the app with the same Apple or Google account you used on the website and your plan is already there.
I paid but Pro isn't showing
Bought on the website: make sure you’re signed in with the account you bought it on (on the website and in the app), then give it a minute and refresh Account settings. Bought in the iPhone app: go to Settings and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID. Still missing? Email us with the receipt and we’ll sort it.
How do I report a security problem?
Email support@squadcard.app with “Security” in the subject and what you found. Please don’t post it publicly first. We read every report, reply within 5 working days and tell you when it’s fixed.
How do I delete my account?
In the app go to Settings, then Delete account. It’s removed permanently after 30 days. On the website, signed in: Account settings, then Delete your account (also 30 days). If you joined from a link without an account: open your squad, then “You and your data”, then Delete your data (immediate). You can also email us and we’ll do it for you. The privacy policy explains exactly what is deleted.
