How the table is worked out
Each result gives the winner three points, or one each for a draw. The table is sorted by points first, and when teams are level:
- Goal difference: goals scored minus goals let in.
- Goals scored: the team that's scored more goes above.
- Still level: alphabetical here; in your league, the game between the two teams is the usual decider.
Two points for a win?
Some small leagues and old-school competitions still give two points for a win, which makes draws worth more. Switch it under the result form and the whole table recalculates.
Need the fixtures as well?
This page is for a league that already has its games. If you're starting from a list of teams, the fixture generator makes a round-robin where everyone plays everyone, and has its own table that fills in as you add the scores.
A table for players, not teams
If your league is really one group of friends, the table people care about is the players: who's won most, who scores, who's player of the match. Squadcard keeps that for a weekly game, with ratings from everyone who played.
